More printers, more options
With Easyribbon you can use thermo printers and color laser printers. Both types
print very fast and with a razor sharp print.
The thermo printer
The thermo printer can only print in silver or gold color. It puts a metallic layer on the
ribbon which makes the print look shiny like metal. The ribbon, and the silver and gold foil
are supplied in rolls enough for many prints.
Two different thermo printers are approved:
The Citizen-621 and the Citizen-8301.
The Easyribbon program has built in facilities which make it possible to print longer ribbons than normal.
Citizen-621 - Print format
Width: Up to 12 cm (4.7 inch)
Length: Up to 200 cm, depending on graphics and width of the ribbon (78.7 inch)
Citizen-8301 - print format
Width: Up to 20 cm (7.8 inch)
Length: Up to 250 cm, depending on graphics and width of the ribbon (98.4 inch)
The thermo printer can print on many different qualities of ribbon. But the foil and ribbon
must be approved. Using not-approved foil and ribbon will affect print quality and may destroy

The thermo printer can only print ribbons, and it cannot be used for ordinary printing purposes
like word processing and signs.
Low printing costs
The thermo and color laser printer is easier, faster and simpler than any other printing system for making ribbons.
Both printers holds consumables for many ribbons. The cost per ribbon is absolutely a minimum.
